History of SIA “RECK”
SIA “RECK” is one of the largest energy construction service providers in Latvia with 25 years of experience.
RECK Ltd. started its operations in early 2000 by providing orders for the operation of power grids.
Over the past 25 years, the company has developed into a multidisciplinary competence center in power engineering, offering full-cycle solutions – from design to implementation. Our field of activity covers a wide range – from low-voltage networks and control automation systems to 400 kV transmission lines and transformer substations.
We pay special attention to smart solutions, including traffic management and control systems, building management systems, smart infrastructure and energy efficiency improvement. We actively implement the latest technologies to ensure safe, sustainable and effective solutions for the needs of both the public and private sectors.
The quality of the services provided by the company is ensured by targeted investments in both technological development and modernization, and in the professional growth of employees. Education
RECK SIA actively develops the potential of its employees by providing targeted and industry-relevant training programms.
The training offered includes:
- Installation and operation of electrical distribution network equipment;
- installation and operation of 0.4–400 kV overhead lines;
- Installation of cable power transmission lines up to 400 kV voltage;
- Installation of cable power transmission lines with 110 kV voltage sleeves;
- Live works up to 1 kV;
- Electrical measurements;
- Work at height, high-altitude work, industrial mountaineering;
- Working with dangerous equipment (such as man lifts and cargo cranes);
- And other specific training.
In addition, SIA RECK provides its employees with the opportunity to participate in various other training courses according to individual needs, for example, obtaining a driver’s category E, obtaining a tractor driver’s license, etc.
In addition, the company provides employee certification in accordance with the requirements of the Latvian Electrical Engineers and Energy Engineers Association (LEEA) up to 400 kV in the following areas:
- Management and construction supervision of electrical installation construction works;
- Electrical installation design;
- Installation of electrical equipment
- Measurement and testing of technical parameters of electrical installations.
RECK SIA also offers certification at the Certification Center of the Latvian Railway Association in the following areas:
- Management and supervision of construction works for electronic communication systems and networks, as well as overhead contact line systems;
- Design of railway electronic communication systems, data transmission networks, and overhead contact line (OCL) systems.
